In Oklahoma Family and Divorce Mediation Training you will learn to apply dispute resolution techniques which will prepare you to add conflict resolution approaches to your existing professional practice or work toward establishing your own mediation practice.

The financial, legal, social, psychological, and procedural dynamics of divorce mediation are explained and then experienced in mock mediations. This training includes an examination of family law and its impact upon the mediation of domestic subjects such as divorce, property division, custody, visitation, grandparent and elder care issues.
This course meets the training requirements of the Oklahoma District Court Mediation Act. It is approved for 40 hours of MCLE credit by the Oklahoma Bar Association (including 2 hours of ethics) and is routinely approved by other states. This course is also approved for 36 Hours CEU for LPC’s, LMFT’s, Psychologists, and licensed Social Workers.
Family & Divorce Mediation Training is a lively discussion-based seminar that includes lecture, small group interaction, role plays with feedback, and case studies. Those completing the course will receive a certificate suitable for framing.

Available Course Discounts include: $100.00 early registration discount for registrations received 30 days or earlier, $100.00 discount for signing up for both courses, and group discounts for three or more persons.
Tuition Payment and Refund/Cancellation Policy
Payment Policy: Payment in full is required to reserve your place. If you wish to qualify for the Early Registration discount, where available, we must receive full payment by the deadline. Confirmation details for all courses are sent upon receipt of full payment.
Cancellation/Refund Policy: Written cancellations received at least two weeks before the start of training will be refunded, less a $150 administrative fee. Cancellations after this cut off will receive no refunds. Substitutions may be designated with notification to our office at no charge. In addition, all cancellations, may transfer their registration to another training offered within a calendar year at no additional cost. Request for rescheduling must be received within 30 days following original registered course date.
The Mediation Institute further reserves the right to cancel a course if sufficient enrollment is not met, and cannot be held responsible for expenses related to travel and/or reservations for overnight accommodations. In the event of the cancellation of a course, the Mediation Institute will refund registration fees pertaining to that course or apply those fees to a future course.
